Green University League Table is another new ranking table in the UK - institutions are ranked according to their environmental management and performance. Green League is ranked based on nine environmental criteria , including factors such as their record on recycling, CO2 emissions and in purchasing renewable energy.
In 2008 ranking, Gloucestershire is the UK's "greenest", followed by Plymouth and University of the West of England. Leeds Metropolitan tops the list in 2007.
